Registration Information

The Course You Want to Enroll in is Full

Gender and Women's Studies classes are popular and tend to fill up fairly quickly.  If the class you want to take is full, please note that waiting lists are not taken until classes start (this applies to our summer courses as well).  To try and get into a course that is full, keep checking the Timetable to see if any spaces open as students add and drop courses.  If you can't enroll in the class that way, you must report to the first day of class in order to be put on the waiting list.

Priority Registration for Gender and Women's Studies Majors

Gender and Women's Studies does not maintain wait lists during enrollment. Instructors start wait lists during first class. Eligibility controls for GWS 310 (lecture 1), 325, 431, 441, and 533 giving preference to students with declared majors in GWS will be in effect until November 18. Students who receive the "requisites not met" error message may enroll after this time. This doesn't mean you haven't met the prerequisites.

Freshmen Only Sections in WS 103

Freshmen only discussion sections in WS 103 are designated for freshmen only. They are footnoted in the Timetable. Students who receive the "requisites not met" error message cannot enroll in the Freshmen only sections. This doesn't mean you haven't met the prerequisites.

How do AP Credits Affect Registration for Freshmen Only Sections?

If you have too many credits for freshman standing due to advanced placement credits, you will not be able to enroll in the freshman sections. Students who receive the "requisites not met" error message cannot enroll in the Freshmen only sections. This doesn't mean you haven't met the prerequisites.
